What Happens After You Submit
1. Photo Review
The visible condition and access are reviewed first.
2. Quote Path if Clear
If scope and access are clear enough, a quote-from-photos path may be possible.
3. Assessment if Needed
If hidden conditions, access, chimney details, movement, or moisture concerns remain unclear, an onsite assessment may be recommended.
If approved repair work moves forward, the pre-tax assessment fee is credited toward that work.
4. Final Written Quote/Agreement
Only the final written quote/agreement is binding.

When Photos May Not Be Enough
Photos are often the right starting point, but not every repair can be defined responsibly from photos alone. Chimney internals, steep or complex access, foundation and moisture concerns, movement or cracking, hidden backing or substrate issues, and unclear repair boundaries can all change the next step.

When an On-Site Assessment May Be Required
While many masonry problems can be reviewed from photos, some structural conditions require an in-person inspection to properly evaluate the masonry system and determine the correct repair approach.
Depending on the condition observed, the appropriate assessment may include:
Visual Masonry Assessment
Used for common repair projects such as brick damage, mortar erosion, or parging failure.
Detailed Structural Masonry Assessment
Used when structural movement, cracking patterns, or complex masonry deterioration is present.
Chimney Structural Inspection
Used when evaluating chimney rebuilding, water entry issues, or crown and flue deterioration.
Assessment findings allow us to prepare accurate repair recommendations and repair pricing where applicable.
